i was disappointed that there was not an ad in the village voice this year around the birthday of John Lennon in Oct, then again i was disappointed not to see a message on december 8th -the anniversary of John's death (though yoko ono made an appearance at strawberry fields to leave roses at the imagine mosaic.)
i opened todays Week in review section of the times to find a full page ad -
on a white background...the words in the middle of the page are..
IMAGINE ALL THE PEOPLE LIVING IN PEACE
in small print at the bottom the page is
yoko ono lennon new york city
nothing else is needed
