i dreamed that i was invited to a party at rosanne cash's. it was a birthday party on the rooftop that overlooked the ocean. In the ocean, there were peddle boats, where families were peddling, parents. kids periodically falling in the water. no life jackets just an old guy to oversee it all
i walked up the stairs with rufus wainwright and started to tell him how much i loved the carnegie concert. I then saw some members of ACS i was to have a meeting with. HOw strange for the meeting to be at the party but i figured id do things together. I knew stacey was at the meeting. I never found the ACS people but rejoined rufus who looked more like teddy thompson... choking back the words, i told him about Ralph the guy who was at the concert who sat behind me who saw judy garland in 1961 and i was choking back the tears telling the story.... rufus started to cry and wiped his eyes on his shirt... he thanked me for the story and chocholate cake was being served. it was being passed around
then rosanne announced the party to be over and she had to attend a wrap party somewhere else.. the idea was to fit cake and champagne in at sunset overseaing the water and then everyone was to leave......
then i woke up
