my aunt died after a long illness

OCALA, Fla. -- Ethel (Newman) Weiner, 77, of Ocala, Fla., and formerly of Medway, died peacefully Thursday, July 6, 2006, at the Hospice of Marion Country.
She was the wife of Morris Weiner to whom she was married for 50 years.
Born in Revere, she was the daughter of the late Max and Mary Newman, and had lived in Medway for many years before moving to Ocala, Fla., in 1999.
She attended the Revere public schools and graduated from Revere High School in 1947. She was a graduate of Wilford Academy, Boston, and had opened her own popular beauty shop for several years in Medway, called The Hair Stop.
Mrs. Weiner was an amazing cook and pastry chef, and loved gardening, sewing and her family and friends. She was well known for her open-door hospitality and generosity to all.
She leaves her children, Mark Weinegger of Franklin, Marsha Jamieson of Woonsocket, R.I., Phil Weiner of Pueblo, Colo., and Rochelle Nason of Brentwood, Tenn.; four grandchildren, Andrew, Michael, Morgan and Warren; and her sister, Irene Barfield.
She was the sister of the late Edward Newman.
There will be a graveside burial Monday, July 10, at 11 a.m., at Sudlikov Cemetery on Fuller Street in Everett.
Instead of flowers, donations would be appreciated to the Alzheimer's Foundation or the Marion County Hospice, in Ocala, Fla.
