i slept til 845 and i started working on finding a job
i have been sending out resumes by email til today. Since Nixmary Brown died, i have been waiting for the ACS Training academy positions to break. Commissioner Mattingly promised to increase the Training Academy staff and i found the positions today. There are over 40 positions. Trainers, supervisors, Provider Training Coordinator..
i emailed my resume to the Executive Director of the Academy and she sent to the Director of Training. I also was advised to send paper resumes so i applied for 8 jobs with multiple openings.
i also applied to LAguadia community college and the city parks department working with WEP workers
i have applied for 60 jobs and send out emails to about 5 contacts to let them know i am looking for work.
i had an interview on monday at ACS program consultant for a consultant position that is not at my level. I spoke to the Director of PROMIS and asked her to take me wiht her at her new foundation job. she told me to send my resume to the Programming Department at ACS for her job.
i printed cover letters and resumes at adelphi tonight and will send her one tomorrow.
i keep combing the net and posted my resume on the NASW site and Socialservice.com
ill keep searching til it pays off
i went for a walk and got ready for school and after school came home...
i know that i dont have to get up tomorrow so i can hang out but i am not used to that and i want to get up for the exterminator in teh morning
so i came home and stayed out of Target, so i wouldnt spend any money
