for free... is it worth it

i went to one of the village voice free screenings tonight. The line at the landmark theater was part of the show. I guess these people know each other and know the drill is trying to get someone in on someone's "half" meaning if you are one person on a two person ticket you are a half... and someone will "work" the line to get a half in on your half.... the people like a circus act and there are VIPS who get in first and get then the reservers are on a guest list and then the general public are let in.
I was on a list and jumped the line because i had to go to the bathroom and they let me in early. It was not half full so everyone got in
I guess more popular movies like silent HIll were a mess and a zoo...
i have signed up for Mission Impossible 2 next
lets see where it is and when...
i cant make the thursday ones right now so i have to skip some free movies
was it worth it.. this was pretty painless for a free movie...
